Kuala Lumpur, 21 September 2026 — Finweek Kuala Lumpur 2026, the EU–ASEAN institutional fintech summit, will take place as a Founding Edition on 11–12 November 2026 at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Kuala Lumpur.

The Founding Edition is built as one summit day in one room on 11 November: keynotes, four panels, a startup showcase and an expo zone, with a closed-door regulators’ table for up to forty participants and the signing of the EU–ASEAN Memorandum between fintech associations of ten countries at 17:50. It is followed on 12 November by the Landing Day — a morning of site visits across Kuala Lumpur, starting at TRX, showing a European company where it actually lands in Malaysia.

The Founding Edition is deliberately senior and deliberately focused. Participation at the regulators’ table and the Founding Dinner is by invitation. The full edition of Finweek Kuala Lumpur follows in May 2027.
